The Tipton Economic Development Corporation (TEDCO) is actively seeking quality, community-minded businesses to join our progressive community.

Building for the future, the TEDCO Board is comprised of 14 volunteer community members who coordinate with the City of Tipton and other volunteer groups to promote and support community-based economic development initiatives.

TEDCO owns the 85 acre Tipton Business Park on the south edge of the city. Already a site of expanding companies, the property is the first industrial site in the state to receive Shovel Ready Iowa certification. Infrastructure including roads, utilities and high speed internet connection is in place to service the build ready lots. The group also holds options on an adjoining 158 acres available for large development projects.
