The Tipton Community School District serves approximately 900 students and is consistently recognized as one of the best in eastern Iowa. We have our own Elementary, Middle, and High Schools which eliminate long bus rides. Our class sizes are small, our educators are top-notch, and our students are high-achieving. Tipton High School offers a full plate of activities for students including varsity athletics, drama and music programs, and many other opportunities usually found only at larger institutions. When you visit Tipton, you'll see that you're stepping into "Tiger Country".

Tipton is home to a branch of Kirkwood Community College which offers trade and technical skill classes. The University of Iowa, the state's largest university, is only a short drive away. Numerous other post-secondary educational opportunities exist in nearby Johnson, Scott,and Muscatine counties.
